COMMUNITY SERVICE:

1987 to 1999 Elected to six consecutive terms on the City Council of the City of Parker, Texas. Responsible for operating budgets, city planning, conflict resolution, clarification of goals and infrastructure maintenance. Served as Mayor Pro-tem from May 1998 until 8/24/99. Served as Acting Mayor from 8/98 – 5/99.

1990 Co-author of the Computational Neuroscience Technology Committee report on key technologies affecting the north Texas economy for the North Texas Commission, a quasi-governmental agency.
